Concerned About Soy And Breast Cancer?

The New York Times looks at a health myth with dangerous possibilities.

The New York Times recently looked into concerns that eating soy milk, tofu and other soy products could heighten the risk of breast cancer or bring it back, because it contains chemicals that mimic the behavior of the estrogen hormone.

Rather than inflame chances of getting breast cancer, the article reported soy linked to lower occurrences of breast cancer and lower rates of recurrence.
